La Cresta Surf Bar / Arjub Studio

This project is located in a corner that opens onto two streets and an outdoor community courtyard. The courtyard, before the renovation, had no direct connection to the bar and was accessed from the street. Now, with the reform, a shoring is created on the facade with two horizontal UPN steel beams in order to achieve the maximum opening and to generate permeability and better lighting. The intervention, with the removal of the false ceilings, reveals the existing structure. A concrete portico structures the space in three areas: the bar and entrance area, the kitchen and toilets and the courtyard outside.

The view from this house is simply breathtaking. It has been built on an escarpment by the Vistula River. “35:35 Slope House” built on an escarpment is the latest design by Polish 77 Studio Architecture studio in Warsaw. The building is an example of the conscious use of unique natural values. “Co-living & co-creating” is the theme of coworking company TOMORE’s pilot space (dubbed “0”). Tomore plans to add a share house to the coworking area in its first official space (dubbed “1”). In planning TOMORE’s 0 space, we needed to account for the living space that would be added to future spaces, so 2 separate areas were necessary.
