House in Holsbeek / Parol architecten

A new family home is located on a sloped terrain in Holsbeek, Belgium on the edge of the forest with respect for its context, the surrounding trees, its orientation, and the different viewpoints. The building volume is pushed into the terrain with the entrance, bedrooms, and bathroom located on the ground floor to keep the rooms cool in warm weather conditions. But they still have a lot of daylight and views of the forest due to the positioning of the windows.

The view from this house is simply breathtaking. It has been built on an escarpment by the Vistula River. “35:35 Slope House” built on an escarpment is the latest design by Polish 77 Studio Architecture studio in Warsaw. The building is an example of the conscious use of unique natural values. The horizontal block almost grows into the green slope, it also establishes a dialogue with the river, which becomes an important point of reference. http://dlvr.it/Sq1cPn

“Co-living & co-creating” is the theme of coworking company TOMORE’s pilot space (dubbed “0”). Tomore plans to add a share house to the coworking area in its first official space (dubbed “1”). In planning TOMORE’s 0 space, we needed to account for the living space that would be added to future spaces, so 2 separate areas were necessary. The functional area for the focused work area has desks, a conference room, and 2 private rooms. The living area facilitates working in a way that feels like relaxing at home. http://dlvr.it/SGyTtr
